Thorns from the prickly pear cactus are carefully harvested in the Arizona desert and placed in a glass vial for protection. Cactus thorns are ideal for working doll babies, cutting up and added to gris gris for protective works and in enemy works. These thorns need to be handled with great care as they are very "sticky".
