This Voodoo doll is made in the spirit of one of les Morts, who are the Dead. He lays in a bed of Spanish moss in a wooden coffin that closes completely while he lays inside. The doll is wrapped in a shroud that is completely removable. Although you can use this doll and coffin for whatever purpose you would like, the purpose of les Morts Voodoo dolls is to remind us of the sanctity of life, as well as the sanctity of death, and to remind us of the Ancestors that have come and gone before us.
