Bayou Swamp Ju Ju Dolls™ are created out of leather scraps or recycled muslin scraps that have been coffee-stained and lightly sanded for that primitive Louisiana folk art effect. This magickal Bayou Swamp Ju Ju Doll is adorned with saints medals, powerful fetishes, and other magickal and protective charms and their eyes are hand stitched.
Keep your ju ju doll close to you, carry it with you for good luck, or keep it near the entrance of your home so it can best protect you. To use your ju ju doll, hold it and focus on the need or desire that you have. Imagine yourself accomplishing your goal by creating a clear vision of yourself successfully attaining what it is you desire in your mind. Do this exercise as frequently as possible. Place it in a special place to remind you of your need or desire. Measures approximately 9 inches tall and 6 inches wide.
These unique and one of a kind (OOAK) Bayou Swamp Ju Ju Dolls™ are exclusive to Creole Moon, conceived of and designed by New Orleans Spiritual artist Denise Alvarado. Like all Creole Moon's authentic Spiritual Art and Devotional Art, these magickal Bayou Swamp Ju Ju Dolls™ are carefully consecrated according to proper New Orleans Voodoo protocol, anointed with ritual oils, and ritually prepared to assist you in your magickal endeavors. Your authentic Bayou Swamp Ju Ju Doll™ will arrive ready to ward off evil and negativity and hear your requests for love, luck, money, happiness, or whatever you need.

About Bayou Swamp Ju Ju Dolls™
It's Voodoo Green!™ Yes, Creole Moon is proud to be part of the Green movement. Whether it is growing herbs and wildcrafting, gathering raw materials, reusing cardboard boxes, or shopping at thrift stores for jewelry to break apart and reuse, I am committed to doing my part to honor and preserve Mother Earth. Bayou Swamp Ju Ju™ is an excellent example of Voodoo Green™ in action!
Voodoo as we know it today is a religion borne of an era in history where people held other people captive and exploited them in slavery. Those who were enslaved struggled to maintain and preserve their faith in the gods of their ancestors. Their forced immersion into different cultures and intermingling with people of other tribes, nations, races, and spiritual traditions resulted in a Creolized African-derived religion. From this struggle, New Orleans Voodoo emerged in the swamps and bayous of Louisiana. Read more about the History of African Ju Ju.
Bayou Swamp Ju Ju Dolls™ are one of the signature original art styles of the website owner, Denise M. Alvarado. Created from recycled materials along with a variety of charms, the gentle marriage of Louisiana Folk Art and Creole Voodoo characteristic of that found along the southern bayous, comes alive with each bayou Swamp Ju Ju Doll.™
