High John de Conqueror Candle
As part of our Ancestor Candles Who's Who in Hoodoo History series, we present this authentic presentation of High John the Conqueror. They say John was a Prince who came from Africa, walking on the winds that filled the sails of ships through the Middle Passage. There are no photographs or drawings of the actual John the Conqueror, so I have created this image of him as he was described in folktales.
High John the Conqueror is a master root in hoodoo, rootwork, and conjure, holding influence over all conditions. Burn a High John de Conqueror candle to draw luck, personal mastery, commanding power, sexual prowess, protection, and domination. It is said that the person who burns the High John candle will be lucky in all things.
Creole Moon's fixed glass encased candles will burn for approximately seven days or 120 hours. They can be reused once they have burned down as vases for holding flowers, turned into a container spell to keep on your altar or refilled with wax to burn again. They are simply too beautiful to throw away and the creative conjurer will find many possibilities for using the decorative glass container once the original wax has burned down.
