Wishing stones are stones with a naturally occurring, unbroken quartz line that goes all the way around the stone. There may be other lines and inclusions, but to qualify as a wishing stone there needs to be a dominant unbroken line around the circumference. Sometimes the lines are long ways. Finding such a stone is a stroke of luck in and of itself.
Legend holds that whoever possesses the stone can make wishes on it indefinitely, so long as the stone is not broken. Some say you can trace your finger along the quartz line, close your eyes and make a wish. If you make a wish for yourself, it is said to come true by believers. However, if you make a wish for someone else, it is believed that wish will come true along with all of your own wishes.
This Black Wishing Stone necklace is held in a handwoven, khaki colored hemp necklace cord with adjustable length (0-30 Inches). It holds a small, unpolished black wishing stone with a thick, white quartz crystal line around it. You can wear it and make wishes all day long on it if you want to. Comes with a 4-dram bottle of Wishing Oil.
