About Ant Hill Gravel and Dirt
Harvester ant workers are usually between ¼ and ½ inch in length and colors range from orange, to red, brown, or black. They can sting and will aggressively defend the nest if threatened. In Southern rootwork, ant hill gravel and dirt is used in defensive works to make an enemy move (give them "ants in their pants"), in break up works to make a person "get the itch" and look elsewhere, in banishing works to make someone disappear or to make them irritated and fight and "bite each other" (Harvester ants bite ferociously). It is also used to make a lazy person more industrious, and added to similar works for a powerful boost in effectiveness. The use of Ant Hill Gravel and Dirt draws on principles of sympathetic magick in its application. The gravel and dirt offered here is gathered from harvester ant nests in the Arizona deserts.
