About Witch's Bottles

A witch bottle is a very old spell device dating back to the 1600s that is designed to draw in and trap evil and negative energy directed at its owner. Though European in origin, it is similar to the New Orleans ju ju and hoodoo bottle spells as it acts as a protective object that keeps evil and negativity at bay. It also counteracts spells cast against you by other witches or hoodoos.

Traditionally, the bottle is filled with items that aligns with its intended use. For example, if the spell is intended to protect the home, it is filled with things like rosemary, pins and needles, and red wine. It is then buried at the farthest corner of the property, beneath the house hearth, or placed in an inconspicuous spot in the house. It is believed that after being buried, the bottle captures evil and impales it with the pins and needles, drowns it by the wine, and sends it away by the rosemary. The Witch-bottle is believed to be active as long as the bottle remains hidden and unbroken.

About Lucky Buddha

Lucky Buddha is an actual deity in Chinese and Japanese folklore. In Chinese, he is referred to as Budai or "Laughing Buddha" and in Japanese he is called Hotei. Our Lucky Buddha is holding up a bowl filled with gold.

According to Chinese lore, Budai was  an eccentric monk known for his good will and character. he is admired for his happiness, plentitude, wisdom and contentment. About Zombie Bottles

A zombie or zombi is an animated human body devoid of a soul. Stories of zombies originated in the Afro-Caribbean spiritual belief system of Vodoun. The zombi image represents the apocalyptic monster zombi archetype, reflecting the manifestation of the personal and collective shadow of a society that is capable of perpetuating death and destruction on the innocent. One by one, friends and loved ones are zombified, and their numbers increase exponentially until we are all consumed by a psychic, spiritual, and physical plague of our own making.

Over the centuries, people across cultures have had their own versions of the Genie in the bottle. Africans have been known for their colorful blue bottles hung on the outside of their huts for the purpose of capturing evil spirits. This practice was brought by slaves to the southern United States, where you can find bottle trees in the countryside.

Often zombie bottles can contain more than one spirit. It is believed that whoever owns the bottle also owns the spirit residing inside the bottle. The spirit is there to do your bidding and will not respond to anyone other than its owner.

Stories abound about strange things happening once a zombie bottle is brought into the home. If you are tuned in, the spirits inside have been known to sing or speak. They are said to be great protectors of the home and are sometimes placed beside the front door to ward off evil and negativity. Others choose to create a special place on an altar for them and feed them regularly special foods that keep them happy. In Louisiana, they sometimes function as the house protector and take orders from a shelf or mantle to fiercely protect whomever they are told to defend.
